Coffee tour to Tabanan

This is a daytrip containing elements from all our themes: agriculture (focus on coffee), culture, nature and village life. You will see the beautiful rice terraces of Tabanan, visit a local coffee-farmer and have lunch at his house, see many crops, fruits and spices, visit a giant statue of the God Shiva and last but not least hike in a serene surrounding to a beautiful waterfall.

On the way to the Batukaru mountain you'll see many beautiful rice terraces that are typical for the Tabanan region.

Coffee

We see lots of coffee plants, pass some small coffee farms and a small goats-farm. After a short walk you arrive at the wooden house of a local coffee farmer. At the yard there's often coffee drying in the sun. Around noon we will have lunch at the yard, prepared by the local Ibu (mother). We eat at her house and witness how people work and live here.

There's not only coffee to see here: you may see advocado, red chocolate, bananas, ananas, papaya, jackfruit, peanuts, rambutan, cloves, vanilla and last but not least... rice.

Shiva

A hidden waterfall in a quiet and serene environment concludes your daytrip. A local guide show the way through dense vegetation of coffee, vanilla and ananas.
